By selecting a moon eclipse star chart, users can plan their observing locations in advance. This feature proves particularly beneficial when traveling to remote sites for eclipse observation, as it allows users to identify where the Earth's shadow will first obscure the moon.

Additionally, the application facilitates access to eclipse start times in international locations.

Users can easily view thumbnail images representing the various phases of the lunar eclipse by tapping on the moon icon located in the upper left corner of the star chart. The interval for these thumbnail images is adjustable, offering flexibility for users’ preferences.

It is important to note that significant computational resources are required for accurate lunar eclipse indications. Therefore, it is advisable to utilize a terminal device with optimal performance capabilities. For Android users, a device running version 4.0 or later is recommended.
